All protocol and ritual draws from the up-to-date standards of care by reputable authorities, and also traditional wisdom that has been passed down from midwives long before birth was seen as a medical event.

Moonrise can provide lactation education before the birth, 24/7 availability for phone consultation in the newborn stage, as well as up to 3 home visits as needed in order to support the breastfeeding relationship as it forms. Emily and Allison are not IBCLCs, and will recommend the higher level of expertise as necessary.

Moonrise offers a unique comprehensive curriculum to prepare a pregnant person and their primary support for an empowering birth experience. These classes can be group sessions, private classes, or virtual, as necessary.
